Sea Launch has been selected to launch the Intelsat 27 communications satellite in early 2013 utilizing the highly-proven Sea Launch Zenit 3SL launch system from the Odyssey launch platform at the equatorial launch site.
Eutelsat has assigned Sea Launch to launch its EUTELSAT 70B (ex. W5A) satellite to in the fourth quarter of 2012 from th Odyssey launch platform, located at 154 degrees West longitude, in the international waters of the Pacific Ocean.
As announced earlier by Eutelsat (http://www.eutelsat.com/satellites/eutelsat-satellites.html) new names of their satellites become active on March 1st.

SES-4 launch success

International Launch Services (ILS) Proton/Breeze-M has successfully launched the SES-4 satellite today. It was 20th SES satellite launched on ILS Proton and the 70th ILS Proton launch overall. After 9 hours 12 minutes mission the satellite was successfully released into geostationary transfer orbit.
Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) and Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited (AsiaSat) announced an agreement to launch AsiaSat 6 and Asiasat 8 satellites using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket in the first half of 2014.
Under the multiple launch services agreement for up to five missions signed in 2010, Sea Launch will launch the Intelsat 21 communications satellite in the third quarter of 2012.
